Scott's golf tournament was all weekend long, so Addi and I were being creative with our time. We ended up over by campus so we got out to run around and enjoy the weather. She thought she owned the place!
There are not many pictures of Addi where I think she looks like my baby pictures, but in these two, I get just a tiny glimps of me...
And then she gives me this face, and she looks JUST LIKE HER DADDY!!
She wanted to go inside Holmberg Hall SO BAD! She didn't understand why the doors were locked!
To get her mind off NOT getting into Holmberg, I promised her we would go find some water!
I love this little fountain right behind Evans Hall (which is where I work).
It's actually a dog fountain named in memory the President and Mrs. Boren's dog Bailey!
Oh did she love splashing in the water! I didn't get a picture, but a one point she was standing in the lower level of water so she could reach the top waterfall! She was almost knee deep! Her dress was soaked all along the bottom and the three small waterfalls were flowing right down the front of her dress!
She was a wet mess and having a ball!
In an effort to help her dry off a little bit, I coaxed her back into the stroller with some Cheerios! Mommy wasn't thinking and walked right past THIS huge water fountain. We just had to stop so Addi could get her fingers wet. I didn't really get any good pictures up close to the fountain because she was on her belly reaching in the whole time! I just knew she was going to fall face first into the water.
She was loving every minute of splashing around!
Finally she just wanted to run free and thankfully it was windy so she dried out before we got back in the car!
We decided to go back to Jazz in Juuuuuuune for a second night of fun. I got her in the stroller and from the time we left the car to the time we made it to the stage area, she was sound asleep! Being the Big Girl on Campus is hard work! I hung out there for a while and let her snooze. She woke up after about a 30 minute nap. She wasn't quite as lively as the night before, but we still enjoyed the music.
Until next year...bye bye Jazz in Juuuuuuune!!

She is so darn precious. Looks like she had fun in the fountain. Love her dress also!
Remind her in about 18 years that she really wanted to get into a lecture hall!
Miss you!
Oh my gosh she is adorable! I love your commentary too.
LOVE the pic of Addi at the door the Holmberg. Great shots!
What a little princess - her hair is getting so long and is really getting light this summer! I'm glad she had such a good time on campus, she'll grow up and be there soon enough. :) Love those last two of her sleeping, her eyelashes are a mile long.
LOVE your photos, Erin! I hadn't seen your blog in awhile - the campus pics are fantastic - love the one with her sitting on the bench. Great use of perspective! Addi is such a beautiful little girl & such a good buddy too!
