water slide

Last Friday night our electricity went out for almost 2 hours!  It was pretty warm in the house, so we decided to just hang out outside as long as we could.  It was past Addi's bedtime so we were trying to keep her entertained.  I stripped her down and was going to let her run around in the sprinkler.

NOT. A. FAN.

Scott thought it would be fun to get her slide wet and let her go down it!

She was to worried about the grass that was stuck to her belly.  She had to stop and pick every piece off before she would even think about going down the slide!  I have no idea where she get it...ha!

"Okay, I'm cleaned off and ready to go!!"

These pictures are blurry but they are hysterical.  Scott kept spraying the hose up in the air like rain, but she did NOT think it was fun or funny!

I really think it was just late and she was sleepy.  We are going to have to try again beccause what kid doesn't like to play in the sprinkler?!?!

Erin,

Katie Merrick is my husband's cousin and I randomly stumbled on your blog through her. True story - I went to Oak Hall so I thought I remembered you!

Anyway, I truly enjoy your blog! Thanks for all the great ideas on labeling and your daughter is simply precious!

So funny! Mags does the same thing with grass. There was a piece of it in the tub last night (after we played in the sprinkler to wash off the popsicle juice) and she just FREAKED! Kept pointing at it like it was goign to get her or something. She'll stop and take her crocs off to get a piece of grass off her.
So cute!

So cute! Maggie does the same thing with the grass on her. She freaked last night in the tub because there was a tiny, itty bitty piece in there with her. Maggie likes the sprinkler but I think only because her big sister likes it, Hattie didn't like it when she was Maggie's age.
