So here's a little bit about our story.

Many, many years ago (1997 to be exact) Scott and I met in high school and have been together ever since. We both went to college at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!).  After graduation we got married (June 12, 2004) and decided to make Norman our home. 

On September 26, 2008, we welcomed Addison Michelle into our family.  She has brought more joy to our lives than we ever knew possible. Addison has such a kind heart and is high-strung just like her mama!

On June 17, 2011, Halle Michelle was born and now our family is complete.  She is my little free spirit who is the epitome of go-with-the-flow.  She is truly the most chill baby I've ever met, and perfect in every way. 

These two girls truly have changed my life.  I always thought I had such a great life, but never knew how much better it could get.  I thought my heart was full of love already but it's amazing how full my heart is now.  Truly amazing.  I can't imagine my life without either of them and now fully know and understand the power of a mother's love.

I’m just like every other working mom…trying to figure out the art of balancing family, work, fun and life all at the same time. I love going to Starbucks, photography, gardening, organizing things, Mexican food, Post-It Notes, my label maker and laminator, looking at Christmas lights, but above all, I adore my family!  

I started this blog in April of 2009 as a way for our families to get their "daily dose" of Addison. I don't scrapbook, I don't keep a journal and according to Addison's baby book she's three months old (YIKES!)...so this is my attempt to document what's happening in our lives.  As this blog has evolved, I've had fun posting little projects of mine and favorite recipes.  I know there are thousands of blogs just like this one, but I hope for whatever reason, you decide to check back often.  I've met some pretty amazing people through blogging and I've had some wonderful readers who email.  It's been a really great way to meet new people!  

I have been blessed with such a wonderful life. At the end of busy day, there's nowhere I'd rather be than home sweet home!
