show and tell

Addi was home sick with the tummy bug and when we showed up to school this morning we had no idea that it was show and tell.  they usually have it on Fridays but since their Halloween parties are tomorrow they moved it.  I had nothing of interest in my car so we were really going to have to get creative.

Good thing Hal Pal was just down the hall.  Pretty sure she was the first ever living show and tell in the Busy Threes!

Thank you Ms. Traci for allowing sister to come and thank you Ms. Katelynn for sending me pictures!  They made my day!

show and tell

On Thursday nights we usually talk about what Addi is going to take for Show and Tell the next day.  This particular evening she told us she wanted to take Leon.

Leon is a horse. An actual horse.  Who live in Ardmore.  

What's the next best thing to Leon?  A picture of Leon.  Thank goodness she was okay with just the picture!

show and tell

Since Addison is a "busy three" now, she gets to take things for show and tell on Fridays! On her first show and tell day she picked out her "purple barbie" (aka Taylor Swift Barbie...she has no clue who that is she just likes the purple dress).  I explained that at show and tell she would get to show her friends her toy and tell them something about it.  Then we decided to practice:

me: "Addi what did you bring for show and tell today?"

Addi: "I brought my purple barbie!"

me: "why is your purple barbie special?"

Addi: "because it's my favorite one!"

me: "why is it your favorite?"

Addi: "because my aunt shelby gave it to me!"
