seaside day 5

Day 5

Look who's starting to like the beach???

Addi had a continuation of her spa day and got sparkles painted on her toes!  She DID NOT want me to come close to her with the nail polish, but once it was over, she was very proud to show off her sparkles!  She would say "sparkle toes! sparkle toes" and wiggle her toes!

"I think I want to go in today Mama!"

To keep her juice cold at the beach,  I put her sippy cup in a koozie.  She thought it was great, but INSISTED on having the pink "koolie"!  High maintenance!!!

Relaxing...

"Yep, I want to get in the water today Dada!"

Heading down the to the water...

Must...go...very...slowly...

Not...so..sure...

Is that sand her feet????
YES!!
I was shocked!!!

"This isn't so bad afterall!"

This picture breaks my heart! I don't know what it is, but she looks so big and so old!  I thought it was just me, but when I showed our pictures to Liz, she said the same thing before I could even mention it!  Where has the time gone? How did my baby get so big?

Of course, I was squatting to take the picture so she squatted too!
Mokey see, monkey do!

Exploring...

Beach feet!

Playin with Mama!

Sweetest little foot print!

Heading back to the umbrella, just singing a little ditty...

family pic!

Going in!

Good job Addi-Girl!!!!

Sportin' Mama's shades!

BEACH BABY!!

Some things never change...
"Mama!!!!! Dirty Peet!!!!! Wipie!!!!!"

At least she recovered quickly!

My beautiful girl!

Did I mention that she's really into singing right now?

What is cuter that ruffles on a baby's butt?
I say NOTHING!

Playing with her sand toys on the blanket...not the sand!

What a ham!

Addi, it's time to go!
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Okay, we can go to the pool for just a few minutes!

After the pool, it was nap time for Little Miss!  Lulu and Poppy stayed at the house while she napped and Scott and I headed to Bud and Alley's Taco Bar for drinks...oh yeah, and we at lunch there.  The tacos were fabulous, but my margarita was OH SO TASTY!!!!

One instance where it's okay to leave up Christmas lights all year long!
So fun.  So festive.  So beachy.

Later that afternoon, we went to the outlet mall in Destin.  Guess who made out the best?  Addi, of course!  I got like 2 things!  They have a great Carter and Oshkosh outlet that had some darling things in for fall, but my favorite spot was the Crew Cuts outlet!  Oh my heavens!  Precious doesn't even begin to describe!  I'm sure glad it was at outlet prices!  I could have done some MAJOR damage in there!!!

We headed to the Red Bar for dinner.  It's a must every year.

Addi loved the "wishie" on the wall but was a little scared of it up close!

Sadly, this is the ONLY group picture we have from our trip!

The Red Bar Band was playing music and after dinner we stopped to dance for a while!  Addi wasn't sure about it at first...

But after a few dips, she LOVED IT!

Only one more day...

I am loving your beach pictures...what a fun vacation. I keep noticing how you guys actually got to sit in chairs on the beach. I don't think I sat down ONE TIME to relax on vacation because of miss wild thing. At least Addi would hang out and let you relax. There is some good things about her being a little timid at the beach :)
