Since becoming a mom, my approach to everything (and I do mean everything) has changed...even my car! Here are a few things that I do to make life easier!
There's a bottle of hand sanitizer in every door. It's easy to squirt and sanitize quickly when getting in the car with dirty hands. I sanitize after pumping gas, grocery shopping, etc. I also wash Addi's hands with "fast soap" after I get her buckled in when I pick her up from school.
The bag in the driver's side door acts as my trashcan. It's a great catch-all for kleenex, gum wrappers, straw trash, etc. It doesn't hold a lot, but it's a better place for trash than my cup holder! This is actually a pencil holder from the school supply isle at Target.
I also found this idea recently. I'm sure I'll upgrade to this when I need something to hold more trash, but for now I'd rather not have something to roll around on the floor. It's a great idea though!

On Halle's side of the car, I have her diaper bag in the floorboard. You can get my diaper bag list of essentials HERE.
On Addison's side of the car, I have my purple car tub in the floorboard. It also acts as a great step stool so she can get in her carseat alone! I have a seat organizer on the passenger's seat too. I really don't like this one a whole lot, but it keeps the shoe scuffs off the leather. It's Eddie Bauer from Target. It only has 1 pocket and I'd prefer one that has multiple pockets. I'll keep looking.
What's in the tub?
Panties
Wipes
Diapers
Pull-Ups
Canister of Clorox wipes
Burpcloths
Dry snacks (crackers, etc.)
Off brand wipes
Travel Dreft pen
Travel Lysol spray
Travel toilet paper
Baby sunscreen
Travel size Cetaphil lotion
Travel Kleenex pouch
Travel Q-tips
Small baggie with hair bands, clippies and brush
First Aid: Bandaids, spray Neosporin, alcohol wipes and gauze
What do you keep in your car that makes your life easier?? Do tell!
