Addison got to go on her first field trip! The Busy Three's visited Fire Station Number 1 here in Norman. It's actually ver close to her school so we walked.
When we first arrived, we all sat in the "living room" and watched a video on fire safety. The kids learned about stop, drop and roll, crawling to safety and much more!
Ian dressed for the occasion in his Carhartt overalls and fireman galoshes! Priceless!
After the video, the kids all practiced stop, drop and roll!

Next we got a tour of the living quarters.
(workout room, bed room, laundry room, kitchen...just like a real house!)
We ended the tour outside in the garage where one fireman got all dressed in is suit. They've got a lot of gear!
and the kids got to touch their suit and mask if they wanted.
(of course Addi had no interest in touching)
Charlie-man loved it!
Then they got to get INSIDE a truck! So cool!
It was such a fun morning! Thank you Fire Station 1 for inviting us!
