mason's 3rd birthday

Addi's friend Mason had her third birthday at TG Farms in Newcastle.  It was a beautiful day and we loved being outside all morning!

I couldn't coax Addi in to standing by the growth chart so she's sitting on a hay bale.  

She really wanted her picture with the mini horse but was to afraid to get up close.  I was feeding Halle and I looked over and saw her standing about 10 feet in front of the fence.  This is the picture we ended up with (Scott did some sneaky photography and got the horse in the background...way to go daddy!)

 

I was still feeding H so S took her to the corn maze and they had fun! 

She carried that silly cup around all morning with her.  It was the $2 animal feed that she refused to actually give to the animals.  I ended up dumping the cup out as we left.

Now it's time to pick our pumpkin.  We had a long discussion the night before about searching for the perfect pumpkin.  She would say, "mama the perfect pumpkin is this wide" and hold her hands about 12 inches wide.  

But in the end, she picked out nearly the smallest pumpkin in the patch.  Whatever floats your boat girlie. 

She picked out one for H but it's the bigger one.  She insisted that the small one was hers.  Okay.
