This is becoming something normal for us to wake up to...sometimes in the middle of the night and sometimes in the morning. How funny is that!?! She just makes a little tiny pallet with her lovie right inside our bedroom door and goes to sleep. I know it's a terrible habit, but sometimes we just have to laugh about it.

Our girls started doing the same thing. And even though we also knew it was a bad habit, we started putting a little padded pallet down so they wouldn't have to sleep on the carpet. Before long they won't have anything to do wth us so I guess we just have to take what we can get now!
So sweet, but that is why my giant 2.5 year old is STILL in his crib! hahaa! It's true though... it won't be long until they are telling us to drop them off a block away from where they are going and wanting NOTHING to do with us. Soak it up.
Does she come in your room first? I ask because Colin has started making a nightly routine of coming in and standing right next to my side of the bed until I wake up. Once I wake up he says some bologna like "he had a bad thought" or that he "misses Buff" and then I take him back to bed. He willingly gets right in but it still means I have to a) wake up and b) get up! I guess it's just a phase.

I used to do this when I was younger. I would leave a note at the top of the stairs that I couldn't sleep so my parents wouldn't step on me. She'll grow out of it :) Adorable family.
