3 lists for expecting moms

Well since you all know I'm a crazy person already, this post will probably come as no surprise to you.  I've shared these lists with a few of my friends who were expecting and so I thought I'd share them here as well.  Also, it's nice to have them posted so I can reference them easily.  Feel free to leave a comment if you'd like to add something I've forgotten!  It's not too late for me to add to my stock!!


The list for the changing table and diaper bag really only apply to newborns.  Of course needs and wants change with every age so just start with these basics and you can build from there.

First, the changing table...

CHANGING TABLE LIST:

Body lotion

Brush/comb

Cetaphil lotion

Clorox Wipes

Diaper rash ointment/cream

Diapers

Hand sanitizer

Kleenex

Motrin

Mylecon

Q-tips

Room spray

Small spiral notebook for tracking medication(s) given, wet/dirty diapers, etc.

Tiny trash bags for diaper disposal

Next, the diaper bag...

DIAPER BAG LIST:

Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer (travel size)

Bibs

Blanket

Bottle of water (for formula emergencies…just in case you’re in a weird place)

Boudreaux’s Baby Kisses Lip Ointment

Boudreaux’s Butt Paste

Burp cloths (at least 2)

Changing pad

Clorox wipes (travel pack) for sanitizing public places

Cup (for warming breast milk in any random sink)

Diapers (several)

Disposable breast pads

Dreft Pretreater Pen (for pretreating stains immediately)

Extra empty bottle

Extra set of clothing (onesie, pants, socks)

Kleenex (travel pack)

Lanolin

Pacifiers

Pre-measured formula packages (just in case, even if your breastfeeding)

Q-Tips (travel pack)

Sensitive Skin Wet Ones (travel pack) to wipe dirty hands and faces

Tiny trash bags for diaper disposal, dirty clothes, etc. 

Tylenol & Motrin

And finally, packing for the hospital.  I'm not 100% packed yet, so you don't get a picture of the finished product, but here's a picture of my cute Jessica Simpson luggage that's I'll be rolling in!  All I have to say is that I hope the new HealthPlex has bell captain carts 'cause I'm movin' in!!
