evening at the park

We've had lots of weekday evenings and weekend afternoons at the park lately.  The weather has just been too beautiful to not be outside having fun!

Typically we go visit the duckies first, but on this particular trip, all Addi could think about was getting across the street to the park!

Let's GO!!

Swings are always the first stop, and if it's not taken she alwasy chooses the "pink" (it's just faded red/orange) swing.

She also loves the BIG slide!!

Look at that hair!!

Next stop, the monkey bars!

Then a few more slides...

She loves to walk the beam too!

And what's not to love about the dome bars!

Look at this crazy girl!

Oh I can just hear those sweet giggles now!

Last stop, the teeter totter.  Mommy is pretty unbalanced right now, so this activity was short-lived!

Yay for good weather and fun trips to the park!  We're so spoiled having a great park and duck pond in our neighborhood!

waking up to this...

This is becoming something normal for us to wake up to...sometimes in the middle of the night and sometimes in the morning.  How funny is that!?!  She just makes a little tiny pallet with her lovie right inside our bedroom door and goes to sleep.  I know it's a terrible habit, but sometimes we just have to laugh about it.

Crazy girl!

Carolina has scheduled her c-section with sweet baby Georgia on June 16th and my c-section is scheduled for June 17!  How fun is that?

Addi showing some sisterly love...

I got so many wonderful gifts from my friends!  How special I feel to have so many amazing friends!  Thank you to everyone!!

Check out the diaper cake that LuLu made for baby Halle!  It was filled with all kinds of fun stuff!!

Merideth cound't be with us at the shower, but know she had her hand in the planning.  Thank you so much Suzanne, Liz and Merideth!! The Hofmann girls are so blessed to have you in our lives!

All morning before the shower, Addi kept asking when she got to put on her twirly dress and got to Halle's birthday party!  I explained (no less than 20 times) that it was NOT her birthday party, but just a baby party.  I guess she finally understood.  She has been very curious about Halle's birthday and when her party is going to be.  I told her that when Halle is born she will have a birthday party, so...we're party planning for the hospital!  It that helps Addi get more excited about Halle's arrival, then by all means, we will have a party!  Now I just need Miss Halle to stay put a little while longer and not make a surprise appearance like her sister, so this mama can finish planning her Zero Birthday Party!!

potty prize!!!

Wow...what a break I took!  I didn't even realize it had been so long!

Well first thing's first!  Addi acheived her goal of 6 poops in the potty so she finally got her potty prize that's been sitting in the bathroom window for weeks now!

She was really proud and wanted me to take a picture of her poop, and since I refused, she wanted to pose by the potty instead.

Here's her prize....a Repunzel Barbie doll!  She's had her a little over a week and it looks like poor Repunzel stuck her finger in a socket!  Her hair is just awful, but Addi doens't mind.  She is SO proud of her!

We're already working on another row on her sticker chart and there's a Belle Barbie doll in the window now.  I'm all about bribing, can't you tell?!?

diggin & sweepin

Outside after dinner Addi decided that she really needed to dig in the dirt.  Whatever floats your boat sister!

Addi did you get your hands dirty???
NOPE!

Check out her awesome park shoes!

After she was done digging, she decided that she needed to sweep up her mess. Shocker, I know!

But then the fun was over, so she got handfuls of dirt and put it on the driveway, just so she could sweep some more.  It's an illness.  I know it is.

We sure have been enjoying the later evenings and the nicer weather!
