checking on halle

Today we got to peek in on our sweet Halle.  Everything looked great and she's growing just perfectly! Currently, she's weighing in at 3 lbs. 1 oz.  She really wasn't cooperating for the camera, which better not be a sign of things to come!  Little does she know I will be taking thousands of pictures of her!!

easter sunday

Happy Easter!  Addi woke up Easter morning worried that the Easter Bunny was still at our house.  Once I assured her that he was long gone, she was ready to come out of her room and see what was left behind...

Wow!  What a basket!

Name shirts, swimsuit cover up and swimsuit, big girl panties, books, princess jewelry, wooden whistles, eggs with stickers and nail polish, princess bandaids, bubbles and so much more!  This girls is crazy spoiled!!!

Someone put on her own new clippie, necklace and braclets!

After church we headed to the brunch with friends...and the Easter Bunny!  Addi was NOT A FAN!  Scott told her if she didn't smile for the family picture that he was going to put her in his lap.  Nice one Scott!  This was the best family picture we got!

It poured rain on Sunday so the egg hunt was inside.  The clubhoues isn't huge, so we ended up in the men's locker room hunting.  The kids still had fun and that's all that matters!

She's really saying "CHEEEEEEEESE!" even though it looks like she's in pain!

Addi was worried about where the Easter Bunny was the entire time we were there so she wasn't smiling in this family picture either.  Oh well.

On the day before Easter, Addi and I had a fun little project...we planted Jelly Beans!

We started with an Easter tin and filled it with some soil.

Then she sprinkled in some Jelly Beans...

and covered them up with dirt.

Add water...

and wait with anticipation for something to grow!!!

What will it be???

On Saturday we braved the cold, wind and rain to have another egg hunt.  It was a little gloomy at first which made Addi sad...

But once more kids showed up and it was time for the hunt, look who was first in line!  Addison and Campbell were leading the way!

Poor Miss Olive was the hostess with the mostess, but she did NOT want a group picture with her friends!

Addi stayed put for the picture, but only because she was chomping away on candy!

Last Thursday was Addi's Easter party at school.  She was super excited about getting to take her basket to school for the egg hunt!
