countdown

A few weeks ago mom and I found these cute little Halloween and Thanksgiving countdown calendars at TJ Maxx.  I got the Halloween one half off (so it was only $6) and the Thanksgiving one was broken, so I got it for $9.  Mom and I both thought they needed to be jazzed up a little.  Of course, I love the Pottery Barn Kids ones, but these were a little easier on my checkbook!  I added ribbons on the sides and new day markers.  I think they turned out pretty cute and both cost me less than $20!!

Halloween Calendar

I think they turned out really cute!  Addi has loved moving the marker every day.  We got a very late start on the Halloween one (as in we started on the 30th I think).  She's really enjoyed moving the Pilgram on the Thanksgiving one though.  We talk about what's on each pocket when we move it.  What a fun tradition!
