sweet georgia

My dear friend Carolina is due with her sweet baby girl, Georgia, one day before I'll have Halle.  They are destined to be the best of friends!!  To celebrate Carolina and Georgia, we had a small shower at Mommy's favorite place in town, The Mont.  It was such an easy and relaxing shower.  

I was in charge of the sweet treats and I knew just who to call...my friend Saradee!

I'm just so sad we are delivering at different hospitals.  Can't wait to hear your exciting news on Thursday!

baby harper time

Baby Harper (and her mommy and daddy) came to visit us again a few weeks ago so the daddies could play in the annual Beta Golf Tournament.  We had such a great time with them, as we always do!  That Harper is one cutie pie!!!  Addi adores here and loves teacher her new "big girl" things to do...like going down the slide!

waterplay wednesdays!!

At Addison's school, each class is assigned a day of the week and they get to have waterplay!  June kicked off the "waterplay" season at school and Addi was one happy little girl!  Another mom stopped by the school and took a few pictures for me on her phone and sent them to me!  Thanks Kristle!!  Also, one of the teachers also sent me a few.  I'm so lucky that there are great parents and teachers at her school who send me fun updates during the day!  I always puts a smile on my face to see her hard at work (or play)!

crazy hair

Scott has been such a huge help since I've been pregnant!  He's totally taken over bathtime because it was killing my back, even in the beginning.  It's been fun for me to hear them playing in the other room and believe it or not, she's learned SO much!  Scott gets the bath crayons out just about every time and they talk about letters, numbers, counting, spelling her name and the list goes on and on!

This was a fun night because he decided to give her crazy hairdos.  I grabbed my camera and started clicking away!!!

first trip to the dentist

Addi had her first trip to the dentist on June 7th and she was awesome!!  She did want to sit in my lap, so I don't have any "action shots".  I was such a proud mama!  She let Miss Stacy count her teeth (10 on top and 10 on bottom...right on track!), brush, polish, floss and fluoride her teeth!!  

I was also proud of myself for remembering my camera that morning before I left the house, but once we got back to the exam room that afternoon, I realized I left it in the car.  I knew Addi would totally flip out if I left, so these are just from by Blackberry, but they're better than nothing!

And digging for treasure!  She really wanted a package of baseball cards, but I talked her into a hot pink Goofy and a lizard ruler!

And she brushed with her new princess toothbrush the whole way home!
