oh bailey...i'm gonna getcha!!!

One of Addi's favorite things to do is to "get" Bailey!  She chases her all over the house and they always end up going round and round the dining room table.  Addi just shrieks at the top of her lungs and puts her hands out like she's going to tickle her.  Bailey is such a good sport about it too...she just plays right along.

 Oh Bailey...here I come!

Mama, I think she went that way!

 She's playing with her bone...

But I'm gonna get her!

 Darn! I missed her!

 Maybe she's over there...

 I SEE HER!!!!

 Whew! That was hard work!

Maybe just one more time.  Oh Bailey...

And the cycle starts all over again!

just haning out...

literally!  I went in to check on Addi before going to bed and this is what I found.  She does the funniest things in her sleep.  I tried not to laugh out loud but I did have to run grab the camera.  Even asleep, she's still a crazy girl!

outside at last!

The weather has just been awful here lately!  Between the Blizzard of 2009 and all the rain, it has just been miserable!  We've all been itching to get outside.  Addi finally got to ride in her wagon and she was in heaven!

We are definitely ready for spring at the Hofmann house!  Too bad it's only January!

So I have to share this funny story, I know this is totally random.  At the birthday party we went to on Saturday night, Scott and I were standing at the bar when this girl came up to me and said that she reads my blog every day and she recognized me!  I was so flattered!  She was so sweet and said she just loved checking on Addi everyday!  The part that totally cracked me up, was that she said I was shorter than what she expected!  Ha!  I hate to break it to all of you out there in blogland, but his girl is only 5'2"!  At my last doctors visit, they argued with me (that I wasn't even that tall!) but I still say 5'2".  Thanks for reading Whitney! It was great to meet you!

weekend happenings

We had lots of weekend happenings here, but not very many pictures to show for it.  My parents drove up on Friday and took Addi back home with them for the weekend!  This was a first for us and I will admit, I was a little nervous!  I knew Addi would be fine, I was worried more about ME!

Since she was gone, we had nothing to do...and it was so wonderful!  We actually had a real date night on Friday night, which was so relaxing.  Dinenr at our favorite restaurant in OKC {Redrock Canyon} and then a movie at the Warren {Up in the Air}...great night!

Saturday we parted ways mid-morning.  I spend over 2 hours wondering around Barnes & Noble, ate lunch with my sweet friend, Suzanne, and just had the best time.  That night we went to a really fun 30th birthday party for four of our college frineds: Bryson, Rob, Mike and Nick.  What a fun party!!!  It was so great to see so many of our friends from our college days.

Apparently Addi was just having the time of her life with LuLu and Poppy!  We've been calling my dad Pops up until this weekend when Addi started calling him Poppy!  We like that one too and I think he's pretty proud that she can say his name now.  She pretty much did anything she wanted all weekend and loved every minute of it!  They took a few pictures and sent them my way.  Addi knows that climbing on the furniture is a NO here so where did she choose to drink her bedtime cup of milk...on the coffee table of course!

Mom swears she started out on the ottoman and then just scooted onto the coffee table.  She knew exactly what she was doing!

Pinky up!

This is so great!  Just don't tell my mom!

The real kicker was when she decided to stand up and dance on the coffee table!  Oh Brother!!!

The main prerequisite for keeping my child is that you MUST know how to send a picture text!  I like to see her throughout the day so here are few mom sent me over the weekend.

Reading books with Poppy!

Fun with LuLu!

I think it was a win-win-win this weekend.  Scott and I enjoyed some time "off", mom and dad loved keeping Addi, and well, as you can see, Addi had a ball!
