Addi wore her turkey shirt today to school for their Thanksgiving lunch! I bought it from LaLa {a blog shop}. Heather has some adorable Christmas shirts in the making!!
Addi is so great about entertaining herself while I clean up after dinner...she just rolls with it! I looked over last night and she had her usual "kitchen toys" out in the floor (plastic bowls, wooden spoons, tupperware containers, etc.) and the rolling pin! I didn't even hear her get it out of the cabinet! She's never even seen the rolling pin before so she was quite mesmorized by it! She was just sitting there rolling it back and forth on the tile and loving it. It kept her entertained while I finished getting everything cleaned up. Such a good girl!
So last week I attempted to applique a turkey shirt for Addison. Two sewing machine needles and several choice words later, I walked away from the project. I got very aggravated and immediately got online and ordered her a darling turkey shirt from here. On Saturday while Addi was napping, I decided to finish the turkey shirt and here's how it turned out! I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome...not too shabby! Addi thought it was pretty fun this morning! She likes to "gobble" like a turkey now. I've been trying to get it on tape, but I've yet to succeed. Hopefully I can post a gobble for you soon!
Look what Addi's PaPa sent her...cowgirl house-boots!! She thought they were pretty cool, especially riding her horsey while wearing them! She's not used to walking in them yet, but with a little practice, she'll be a pro in no time!! Guaranteed to keep her toesies warm all winter long! Thanks PaPa!!
