patio (almost after)

I realize that I've never posted "after" pictures of our patio with the new patio furniture!  It's still not 100% finished, but it's getting close!  We really do love our new furniture and the Roman shade has made such a difference in the evenings!

Yes, there's a loveseat that goes with the furniture set, but it's still in my living room!  That's another story...

playdate fun

We had such a fun playdate on Saturday!  Cooper and Carolina, Meg and Ilena and Hayes and Brittany.  What a fun group of Mamas and kiddos!

The kids had the best time playing!  I pulled all of Addi's toys out into the living room and they all went wild!

Of course, there had to be some "tolor" time!

Then it was snack time!  Cooper didn't want to sit in a chair...instead, he wanted to sit on one of Addi's "wissies".  He cracked me up!

Yum-O!!  Ilena made such yummy snacks for us...recipe coming soon!  Looks like everyone loved them!

Addi begged me for a "bebe" bib just like "toopers"...she didn't believe me that we don't own a Mickey bib!

After snacks, we had a little bit of kitchen play and then a dance party!  Those kids have some moves!!!  Hayes was a wildman and Meg kept doing the "kelly"!

By the end of the playdate, Cooper had on Meg's headband!  Such a silly boy!

mo bathtime

Last Thursday evening, Scott and Sean (MO's daddy) were playing golf, so Addi and I went over to play at MO's house.  It was bath night for both girls, so Liz and I just stuck both of them in the tub while we were there.  Neither of them have ever taken a bath with a friend and oh my word!  They had more fun!  Liz videoed and I took pictures.  I think they stayed in the tub for 45 minutes just screaming and splashing!  It truly was priceless!!

Pretty sure Liz and I were getting a private concert at this point!

And then the splashing got out of control!!!

They calmed down and settled in for some storytime.  Check out the water color now!

Addi always loves buckets and cups in the bath...good thing MO had several to share!!

Oh they just had the best time in the bath! 

After we got them dried off, lotioned up and diapered, they were hysterical!  They decided that they wanted to play on MO's big girl bed!  MO wanted Addi under the coveres, but Addi didn't want to get under them.  They both squirmed and jumped around so much that all of my pictures were just one big blur!  These were the best ones I got!

Liz  read them some bedtime stories and as you can see, Addi LOVED the fish popup book!!

MO wanted to sit on her stool and so did Addi.  Are they not the cutest little things ever sharing the stool in thier diapers?  Sweetest girls!

Thanks for letting us come over Roberts girls!  Addi and I had a great time! I can't wait to get that video from Liz...if you could only hear their screams and belly laughs!

school pictures

I know the days are coming where Addi will look so goofy in her school pictures sitting on a stool in front of a solid color backdrop and saying cheese on the count of 3.  We've all been there and done that! 

But for now, I'm really loving her "school" pictures!  A local gal (Lisa Doan) takes the pictures for Addi's school and really does a great job on them! 

I know these are just the proofs but I really wanted to post something!  I've ordered my pictures and they just aren't in yet...I couldn't wait any longer!

ti-o bid day

What a whirlwind!  We had a great weekend and now I need to play catch-up on the blog!

As I said, last Tuesday was Bid Day at the "Ti-O" house.  Addi wanted to go over to the house to see Aunt Shelby. 

How cute are these cut outs in the front yard?  We certainly didn't have anything that cute when I pledged!

Addi wasn't too impressed with the idea of puting her face in the owl eye.  If looks could kill...

As you know, Addi never leaves a bow in her hair, but now all I have to say is, "Addi, Ti-O's wear bows!" and she picks one out immediatley and has me put it in her hair! I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm going with it for now!

She loved the DJ on the front porch and she loved dancing even more!!

Sweet Brittany gave her a new owl "purse" and now we can't leve home without it!

Recruitment was fun but I'm so glad it only happens once a year!  It wears me out!
