jazz in juuuuuuuuune!

Last Thursday night kicked off Jazz in June weekend in Norman.  It's alwasy such a fun event and we certainly didn't want to miss it, even though Dada was playing in a golf tournament.  I told Addi at dinner that we were going to Jazz in June to listed to music and dance!  She was so excited!

She walked around for 30 minutes saying "doe bye-bye...azz in juuuuuuune!!" {go bye-bye...jazz in juuuuuune}. So we packed up the car and headed over to Brookhaven Village.

After we got there I bought Addi a small cup of Dippin' Dots. She was so excited for them but once I handed her the cup, she didn't want them! Why does she not like ice cream? She definitely did NOT get that from me!! She thought it was fun to feed them to me, but most of all she liked dropping them on the sidewalk and watching them melt.

 

We were just walking around and bumped into our friends, Brittany and Hayes! 

The kids had a blast dancing and eating ro-ros together!

 

Addi loved sharing her ro-ros with Hayes!  It made this Mama very proud!

Addi was asleep before we even got to the car!

more father's day fun

On Father's Day, Scott played golf with my dad and then we went out to his parents house for dinner.  Addi went right for the bubbles!

After dinner, Addi went to the garden to check on her veggies that she planted with PaPa.

The corn stalks are taller than she is now!!!

Addi was BEGGING to go swimming and just shimmied up the ladder all by her self.

Aunt Shelby caved in and said she would take Addi swimming.  Look how happy that made Addi!!!!!

Addi spotted Jacob (aka "doctor") and wanted to get him!

The Uncle Stu popped up and splashed!

But Shelby and Addi splashed him back!

Then Addi practiced her kicks!

No Addi, you paddle like a doggy not drink like a doggy!  What is it with pool water?

Then she wanted to JUMP!

Ready...Set...GO!!!

Again!

"MiMi, are you sure you've got me?

What a happy DaDa on Father's Day!

And what a happy girl too!

PaPa wanted to teach Addi how to play!

"Where do I put my fingers?"

"How am I doing?"

"Move your hand PaPa, I've got it now!"

What a fun day!

stickers, swing, friends and flowers

I know the title is pretty random, but my creative juices just weren't flowing.  We were in Ardmore over the weekend and Addi had so much fun doing all kinds of things. 

One of her favorite things to do with LuLu is stickers!  LuLu even took her to Hobby Lobby and let her pick out some new stickers.  My PaPa had this teeny tiny table and it is just Addi's height.  It's her "sticker table"!

After stickers, Addi found a swing in the living room.  Her Great-Granny got it for her to have at LuLu and Poppy's house.  According to Addi, Poppy needed to "fix it!"

"Daddy are you sure this is sturdy?"

"Poppy, what do you think?"

"WEEEEE!!! I think it's GREAT!"

She loved having an audience!

After swinging, some of our very best friends came over...Shannon and Whitney.  Shannon is my God Mother so Whitney and I always called ourselves God Sisters.  Whitney just got engaged and is getting married next summer in Florida!!! 

Another one of Addi's favorite things is to help LuLu water her plants!  Here they are watering the herbs.

And then Addi decided that her feet needed to be watered!

And then her hands!

And then her arms.

It's a domino effect!
