hot apple cider

Addi loves taking sips of my coffee so I knew she'd love apple cider this winter. On one of our first really cold nights we gave it a try. She wanted a white mug like mine, but settled for her Minnie Mouse one, thankfully.

I'd say it was a hit!  She loved it and has asked for it several times.  Yummy!

new orleans shrimp toss

½ c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
½ can cream of shrimp
½ c. milk
1 t. paprika
cornbread

Mix shrimp, 1 T. oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire and Cajun seasoning.  Heat remaining oil in skillet.  Add onion and garlic and cook until tender.  Add soup, milk and paprika.  Heat to a boil.  Add shrimp mixture.  Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until shrimp is done.  Serve over cornbread.

trikein'

Addi-girl loves her trike, except that she NEVER uses the peddles!  Silly thing.

Aren't the trees so pretty on our street?

Scott insisted on helping her use the peddles and she did for a minute, but quickly went back to scooting with her feet.

dress up

This girl is the queen of dress up!  She needs a separate closet just for her dress up stuff.  Seriously.

I SOOO wish we had room for a cute little dress up area like this one:

or this one

but we don't so for now it's all crammed in her closet.  Oh well...a girls closet is never big enough!

So here's our sweet thing in dress up mode!

Stopping for some beauty shop action...

and baby doll time.

And sweet Halle couldn't escape the fun without a costume of her own.  She's such a good sport!

She didn't seem to mind, though.  Look at that grin...looks like we've got another girly-girl on our hands!

Never a dull moment at the hofmann house.  Never a dull moment.

it's that time of year again...

This girl is such a trooper!  She takes her breathing treatments like a champ twice a day!

Thank goodness for DVR'd Mickey Mouse, right?
