pumpkin carving

We didn't carve a pumpkin last year with Addison but we thought she'd really like it this year.

Drawing it out with a pencil and marker first...

Addi named him Pumpkin Hofmann.  Pretty original, huh?

Addison, Pumpkin and Halle Hofmann...quite a group!

Addi was so excited to see the "stuff" inside but once the top was off all she would say was "it's really YUCK!"

Hands in the air, like NO WAY!!

Best pouty face ever!

Halle's just watching us like we're crazy.  Which we are.

Also, I learned that if you spray your carved pumpkin with Clorox Clean-Up that they won't mold as fast and the bugs won't take over.  Nice to know.

4-wheelers, hoola hoops and tutus

Well if you're gonna do it, you gotta do it right!  Naturally A would have on a pink tutu while riding her purple 4-wheeler!  A got her 4-wheeler last Christmas from Santa and had really not ridden it even once. I don't know why, but she decided this night was a great night to go for a ride.  Okay.

There she goes!

And as fast as the thought entered her mind to ride the thing, she decided it was a horrible idea and bailed.  She literally hopped off  and left it in the middle of the street to run home.  I have no clue what goes through her mind.  No clue.

Pure panic on her face! Love it.

She quickly got out her hoola hoops and wanted to play with them.

This is our neighbor Hallie and A loves to play outside with her.

No hands!

At her four-month appointment, we got the go-ahead to start Halle on baby food!  I can't believe it's already time!  We suited her up in her bib and bumbo.

Addi was super excited!

Addison HATED cereal when she was a baby! I spent a small fortune on every brand and grain I could find. She would only eat it for Ms. Peg.  I even bought the kind Peg had and she still wouldn't eat it.

I was afraid H would be the same way but she did really well on her first attempt!  She even let A feed her!

Yep.

Just call me Happy Hal.
