feeding time

Addi decided it was time she fed baby Halle by herself.  Look at what a proud big sister!

Notice she's holding up 1 finger for "first time!"

Way to go Addi!!

vacation

Well it isn't Seaside, but we still had a wonderful time on our vacation this year.  I loaded up the girls and drove 77 miles south to my parents house.  That was as far as I could imagine going this year with all of the gear that comes along with a newborn.  The girls and I were there for almost a week and Scott came and joined us over the weekend. My parent's pool is finished and is SOOO nice!  Thanks for hosting us on vacation, LuLu and Poppy!

It was entirely too hot to swim during the day so as soon as the sun would begin to set, we'd change into our suites and head outside!  Halle didn't get in but she sure loved lounging!

Looks like Hal is having her own little dance party!

The pool has a huge shallow end...as in less than 6" deep.  It's so wonderful for Addi to just be able to sit and play...it's like she's in the bathtub!  It's also really fun to put the lounge chairs in the shallow end!

She didn't want to have her puddle jumper on and was super mad at Scott.  ha!

Uncle Trevor to the rescue!

Fun times in Ardmore this summer!

dance shoe date

Addison is enrolled in her first danceclass this fall and I'm honestly not sure who's more excited...me or her!  As a special treat on "dance shoe Saturday", Liz, Anne and I met at Starbucks for a breakfast date with the girls before we headed to the studio.  Olivia, Mackenzie and Addi thought they were such BIG girls with their frappachinos (decalf of course!).

On our way to the studio...

Tiny ballet toes

Happy tappy feet!

Addi and Olivia wating to get their shoes!

Stay tuned for her first day of class...

william's birthday party

Okay people, we're back in business!  My computer is back and my camera was junked out by Best Buy so I got a new one!!  I upgraded a bit to the Canon Rebel T2i.  It's pretty awsome!!  Because I'm just the way I am, I'm going to keep my posts in order from where I left off.  Hopefully we will be caught up soon!

Starting where we left off...

Addi was invited to William's birthday party at the end of July. It was at the gymnastics place where Addi used to take lessons so she had a ball!

The party was super hero themed and that's the birthday boy in his batman shirt!

Addi still loved the pit!

Group picture time!

Happy Birthday William!!

still here!

Wow!  Has it really been a month since my last post?  What a month it's been...First my camera broke and then my computer! They are both under warranty with Best Buy so they had to be shipped off to be repaired. Trust me when I say that every single person on the Geek Squad knows me by name, face and Service Order Number. I have raised all kinds of hell at the store.  I finally left the store today with my comptuer in hand!!!!!!  BUT my camera is still being "assessed by an agent"...whatever that means.

To say that I've been lost without my computer and camera is a huge understatement!  We've had lots happening around here and I've really needed my camera. Liz has been such a dear friend and let me borrow hers for some of our milestone moments.  I've also had my mom's point and shoot and just last week I borrowed my mother-in-law's DSLR.

Slowly I will get caught up blogging, but life isn't going to slow down any time soon for me to catch up, unfortunately.  On Thursday, Addison is getting her tonsils and adenoids removed and another set of ear tubes put in. Because of her asthma, they will keep her overnight in the hospital.  That should be fun!  The doctor says day 5 will be her worst. Great.  Anyone have any great tips for tonsils being removed from an almost three year old?

To top it all off, I go back to work next week.  Great timing, huh?  It will all work out, but in the meantime I'm sure I'll be a tad stressed.

Hang in there and please keep checking back for updates...hopefully we'll be back on track soon!  Thanks for the comments and emails of concern.  Not having a computer or camera really cut off my lifelines to the outside world. Thank goodness for iPads so I could atleast look at facebook and pinterest!

Hope to be blogging soon!
