harper came to town!

Look who came to visit last weekend.  Oh yeah, her mommy and daddy came too.  Addi was so excited for Harper to get here and she really did a great job helping take care of her (which is hopefully a good sign of her accepting baby Halle with open arms!!).

Clark and Amanda went to a graduation ceremony on Saturday morning so we got some alone time with Harper and loved every minute of it!  Addi loved feeding her the most!

Guess who liked eating the puffs besides Harper?

Addi insisted that I scoot the highchair around to her side of the table so they could be closer!

Happy girl!!

Another happy girl!

I love Harper's concentration in this picture!

And here too!  Such an accomplishment!

Harper, here's your puff!

You got it!!

Scott really wanted to teach her how to walk.  Ha!

Addi thought it would be fun to make a train with Harper and she even let her be the leader.  This NEVER happens...Addi is always the leader, so to see her share the duty made me one proud mama!

Thanks for coming to stay baby Harper!  We can't wait for you to come back!!!!

hot potato

Hot potato is a pretty fun game to play, especially with this crazy girl!!!

Sometimes it gets a little out of control with the "potato".  That results in a talkin' to from daddy.

Then the game turned into a football game!

GO TEAM!

Cheerleading stunts with daddy!

and she's done!  Whew! What a game!

Since she was young, Addison has been on breathing treatments off and on for asthma.  Well she's been in the middle of a flare up for weeks now so this has become part of our daily routine.  Poor thing got that from her mama!  We're heading to an asthma and allergy specialist next week actually.  Wish us luck!!

Addison tolerates the treatments really well and even her teachers at school have commend on how well she does with them.  I guess the silver lining to having been on them so long, is that they really don't even phase her now.  Sad but true.

apple sillies

Our little independent girl has insisted on eating WHOLE apples lately.  She never eats all of it, which is frustrating, but she's doing a really good job of sinking her teeth into it and taking big bites.  Sometimes either Scott or I will have to start it for her by taking the first bite.  This girl loves apples!!

This particular evening, she was being so silly with her apple.  I grabbed the camera and just started taking pictures.  What a crazy girl!

We had been playing with an empty paper towel tube and she wanted me take pictures of her through the tube...they actually turned out pretty cute!
