sunny twos

Last Monday was Addi's first day as a Sunny Two at school!! She's been looking forward to her move up although we were very sad to leave Ms. Monique and Ms. Deidre. 

Addi didn't miss a beat...she walked right in and started playing in the kitchen!

Friday was the Sunny Twos Valentine's Day party and Addi had a ball!

Mason was showing off is sweet baby sister, Morgan.  Addi was pretty in to her! 

And one of the best things about the Sunny Twos...Olivia is a Sunny Two with her!!!  Addi's daily sheet has said something about the girls playing together every single day.  I love that they are such great friends!

weekend happenings

My parents came to town on Saturday and Poppy could not wait to build Addi a snowman!  She was super sleepy so she wasn't much in to it, but she enjoyed it later.  For some reason, she named him Salty.  I have no idea why.

LuLu and Poppy offered to paint Addi's new big girl room for me and I wasn't going to turn them down.  She was so excited!! 

Seriously, she's saying, "I got the feee-ver!" in the picture.  Does she not have the Beiber hairdo going on or what?!?!  Grow hair, grow!! She calls it the "Bever Fever".

Once they were ready to paint, we told Addi she could watch but she had to stay on the carpet and couldn't get on the plastic.  She was so great!

Since the ceiling had to be painted too, what better way to protect the fan without taking it down??

Time to take a little break to build a marshmallow and toothpick house with Poppy!

hayes turns 2

On Saturday we got to celebrate Hayes turning 2!  I don't know who was more excited about the birthday party at Gymboree, Addi or me.  I knew she was going to have a blast and definitley run off some energy.  And that she did!!

Next it was time to shake, shake, shake her "raccas"!! She even brought Carlolina and me matching sets! 

The birthday boy had so much fun running around at his party and I barely got any pictures of him in action.  He did sit still long enough to let us sing Happy Birthday so I snapped a quick picture!

addi is having a baby...

Which one is it??????

We had grand plans of having our families up to Norman last night to reveal at dinner if we were having a boy or a girl.  More bad weather came in last night, so we canceled dinner and just called and text instead.  We wanted everyone to be safe!

We went to the doctor yesterday and found out that Addi is having a baby... 

We are all simply thrilled!!!  Little Sister cooperated enough to show us her business, but didn't want to give is any party pics!  I even waited about an hour and went back in for another ultrasound and still nothing!  I have one picture of the front of her face (which is really hard to see), a picture of her foot and a picture of her parts.  Oh well, I'm just glad she showed us what we really wanted to see!

We are definitley thinking PINK now and it is sinking in that we will have two sweet girls very soon! 

What a blessing!
