scooby snacks

Addi has really been loving Scooby Snacks lately!  She says it so funny...I can't even type what she says because I really don't even know what she says.  It's funny though!

Are these shoes not to-die-for cute??

This picture cracks me up!
Poke it in, Addi!

Playing in the leaves with her shovel.  I tried to get her the rake, but she insisted on the shovel.

The Potts Clan at Thanksgiving.

(Jackie, Trevor, Scott, LuLu, Addi, Evan, Lenny and Poppy)

I didn't get any pictures at dinner with Scott's family.
Man, I'm really falling down on the picture taking/blogging job!

give thanks

Addi's school hosted a Thanksgiving lunch for us during Thanksgiving week.  We had such a nice time spending time with Addi at school.

What a fun way to give thanks!

bye bye paci

A few weeks ago, Addi gave up her paci.  It was something we talked about for a long time before we actually did it.  I wanted her to know it was coming and to be ready.  I told her that only babies use pacis and that since she was such a big girl she didn't need them anymore.  Since Addi LOVES baby Emma, we thought it would be a great idea to give them to her!  We collected all the pacis in the house.  Addi then picked out a box and a ribbon.

We packed them up and gave them to baby Emma.  It wa a very easy transition, actually.  I was expecting it to be much harder.  She still sometimes asks for it, but when I ask her where it is, she immediatly says, "Baby Emma has it!"

I'm so proud of her!!!

a big surprise!

Scott's birthday is the day after Christmas and I've never thrown him a party because people are usually still Christmasing with family.  Well this year he turns 30 and I couldn't let it slip by like every other  year!  With the help many people, I pulled off a surprise party for him the week before Thanksgiving!  I planned it so early in hopes that he wouldn't expect anything and also so more people could come since it was before holiday happenings begin.  I was so excited about it and almost gave it away so many times.  I mailed a fake invitation to our houes so Scott thought we were going to a surprise party for our friend Sean.  He really had no clue, which made it so much fun!!!

He was surprised and confused...

especially when Sean jumped out!

Still trying to figure out what's happening!

Check out the yummy cake my high school friend Casey made!  It was so tasty!  The top layer was strawberry and the bottom layer was lemon!!

30 candles...that's right!  They took a while to light!

Scott's mom made him a photobook.  Everyone had so much fun looking at pictures of him when he was little!
