golfin'

Last weekend, Addi and I got to go golfin' with Scott!  It has been a really hot summer, so we haven't been to the course since last spring.  Addi loved every minute of being out there!

She was Daddy's helper for the day!

Where'd the ball go?

We don't go many places without "ro-ros" and the golf course is no exception!

Thanks for inviting us to tag along Daddy!

tumbleville

Addi's school has started the coolest thing!  There's a new bus in town called Tumbleville Express.  It comes to school one day a week and the kids get to go inside and do gymnastics!  The bus is hollowed out and loaded with gym equipment.  The instructors help the kids go from station to station.  It's really such a fun thing for the kiddos!

I wasn't there the first day they came, but Savannah's mom, Kristle, was there and shared her pictures with me!

Thanks for sharing Kristle!  Isn't the Tumbleville Express so great?  Addi loved it and still talks about the "big bus!"

early birthday

Well Addi got a very special birthday gift in the mail last week!  My dear friend, Carrie, lives in Houston and I miss seeing her SO BAD!  She came to Oklahoma a few weeks ago but our paths didn't cross and we didn't get to see eachother.  So...she mailed Addi a package.

Look at the determination and excitement on her face!!

What is it...

I love her peeking inside!

What is it???

The most adorable pair of HANDMADE pants you've ever seen in your life!

And such a fun book!  Carrie always gives Addi books and she's got quite a collection now from the Presleys!  Look at what a mess the kitchen is!  Addi literally ripped the gift open and was so excited she sat right down and started reading her new book!

And then she stood up and before I knew it her shorts were around her ankles and she was trying to get them over her shoes.  She just had to try her new pants on immediately!

So excited about her new pants from Carrie!

Oh my gosh I wish you could all see them in person!  They really are to die for!!!

Carrie is one of the crafiest girls I know!  You can read about pants making HERE.

reading and cooking

Guess what my girl loves to do after school??
(Doesn't the bow just kill you? I love it so much!)

READ!!

She's loved this black and white animal book from Miss Judy since she was a "bity bity" baby!

A new favorite is Duck Goes Potty.

She really loves any book with animals!
This one is great because it has babies and mommies...even better!

Such a sweet girl

On this night, when Dada got home, we made grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner!

First you get bread...

Then you put it on a plate...

Next you get some cheese...

Then you tear the crust off and eat it...

Lastly you spray your bread with butter and then smash it in the George Foreman Grill.

And presto!

Bites with Dada!

For the record, Addi is the only toddler in America who does not eat grilled cheese sandwiches or mac & cheese!  So strange! She ate this one bite I documented and then it was over!  What's not to like about a grilled cheese, Addi?  I mean, seriously?!?
