christmas with lulu & pops

My mom sent me some of their pictures from Christmas Eve with my grandmother (Granny) and Christmas Day with Trevor, Jackie and the three doggles.

Mom and Dad with Granny.

Maddie (Santa) and Sophie (Rudolph) on Christmas morning!
Jackie doing her version of the Hot Dog Dance! Not really. They were getting all geared up to take the dogs outside. Poor thing was stuck wearing some of Trevor's camo! She pulled it off nicely I'd say!
Bailey's eyes were closed!
Bailey posing by all of Addi's goodies that Santa left in Ardmore! Geoffrey flew down, but could only bring back her stocking. LuLu and Pops took lots of pictures for us!

On the 27th, mom and dad came to Norman and brough all of Addi's toys! She was just waking up, so it was really like Christmas morning!
Checking everything out with LuLu.

Loving her Little People Tow and Pull Tractor!
And REALLY loving her new table and chairs for the kitchen!
Cheese!
The three girls.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse from Jackie's parents! These may have been her favorite thing all day!
Scott surprised by his XM radio! It's really hard to surprise him, so when you do, it's so great!
LuLu got a Wii!
Addi helping Pops unwrap. She was such a good little helper with all of our Christmases! Her favorite part was taking the wrapping paper to the trashsack! Such a good girl!
And LuLu got a Wii Fit! She's going to start doing yoga in Addi's new playroom at their house!
Addi loved sitting on the Wii box and dangling her legs.

LuLu and Pops gave Addi this darling rocking horse from Pottery Barn Kids and it scared her to death! I felt awful that it upset her so bad! They also got her a riding lady bug that freaked her out and a set of golf clubs. She's really not sure what to do with the golf clubs yet, but I'm sure her daddy can help with that! Addi's also loving her Little People doll house from Great Granny!
Despite all of the crazy Oklahoma weather, we had such a wonderful Christmas! We are so blessed to have such amazing families! Thank you to EVERYONE for making our Christmas so special!!!

christmas with mimi & papa

Since we were snowed in for Christmas, we extended our Christmasing this year! On Scott's birthday (the 26th), his family came to Norman and we Christmased that afternoon and birthday partied that evening. It was a really fun day!!!

Addi was just getting up from her nap when they got to town. They got their gifts all situated in the living room and then we let Addi come out to see what they brought!

Look how excited Scott was!

Oooooo!
A Kitchen!!
Not so sure about the apron!

Serving up some pizza!
Gotta put it in the oven to bake.
It's done!
Happy girl! She loves her kitchen!
Opening gifts with MiMi.
She was really excited about something!

So was MiMi! She got an entire bag full of my bows! She loves my Christmas bows and resuses them each year. I gave her a huge bag and it might have just been her favorite gift of the day!
Addi's new jacket and lovie from great grandma and grandpa Stevenson.

Aunt Shelby got a new Chi O hoodie and Addi wanted to try it on!
Oooo! Looks good!
Addi loves her play kitchen MiMi and PaPa! Thank you so much!
She warmed up to the apron very quickly and now wears it around the house constantly. She didn't want to take it off for the pictures...oh well! Merry Christmas MiMi & PaPa!
Merry Christmas Jacob!
Merry Christmas Aunt Shelby!
Thank you all for such a wonderful Christmas!

new year's eve fun!

Our friends, Tommy and Marissa, celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary last night and had an Anniversary/New Year's Eve Party at Riverwind Casino! Fun does not even begin to describe the night! There are lots of wild and hysterical stories from the evening (many are not blog-appropriate though. Don't worry Tommy, I won't mention the fact that you licked Scott's face at the blackjack table out of pure excitement or that you told the cocktail waitress that you had on your skinny jeans! Your stories are safe with me!!)

Scott's parents came and babysat for us, which was wonderful!! Since they spent the night, they got up with Addi this morning so mommy and daddy could sleep in!!! It was much needed too, since we didn't get home until 3 AM!!!
Addi looking very sweet and innocent. Acting like she's really sad that we're going out without her!

Addi realizing that since we're leaving, she can do anything she wants, like run around the house until 11:15!! MiMi and PaPa let her call the shots where they're here...and she knows it!

I am so sad I didn't take my camera, because I would have some GREAT picturs to share. Evan wins the rockstar of the night award! She had knee surgery last week and borrowed her grandpa's electric RED scooter so she could come to the party! She totally dressed for the occasion in her black party dress and heals! Liz started calling her "Ma-Maw" and the nickname stuck! Evan didn't want to play at the "short tables" for handicapped people, so we made room for her at our blackjack table. She was the luckiest player of the evening and totally raked in the chips!! Here is the only picture I have from a cell phone.

We really did have just the best time ever! Marissa went all out with party decorations so we felt like we were in Times Square all night! She even bought a fog machine for added effect! What a blast! Some people did have cameras, so hopefully I will get some pictures that I can post...all PG, I promise!

Happy Anniversary to Tommy & Marissa and Happy 2010 to all of you!!
